Club Membership

Thank you for joining or renewing your membership with the Moultonboro Snowmobile Club (MSC).  Your dues and donations are critical in the support of the club’s trail operations.  An individual membership card entitles you to a $30 discount for each sled that you register.  Family Membership extends the discount to a partner and children under 18, all living at the same physical address. Registration agents require a drivers license to register a sled and cross-check with the  address printed on the voucher.

Snowmobile Registration Agents can not sell you a club membership.  While at an agent, you can join our club online by using the NHSA web site (using your smart-phone) and get your club membership ID immediately.

There are three ways to join our club. Click on the method that you prefer.  Scroll down for more details about each method.

Click here to use the NHSA Membership Web site (Preferred) – Join online at the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association (NHSA) Web Site and your registration discount voucher is available immediately.  Your email is your username.  You can also donate to the club and we’ll get 100% of the amount.  Once logged into your NHSA account, you can change your contact information, renew memberships each year and reprint membership cards.

Click here to use the Club’s Web site   – Join by using the Club’s Web Site.  We will enter your information into the NHSA database and instruct the NHSA system to email you the membership card.  We strive for 24 hour turnaround during the season and usually it is faster.  Your card will arrive via email from “NHSA Membership Platform”.  If you don’t receive it within a day, check your SPAM directory or check with us at membership@moultonborosmc.org.  We can resend it.  You can also order maps and decals and donate with the club’s website transaction.

Click here to print and mail your membership  – Print out a paper membership application and mail it with a check to the club’s post office box, listed on the application.  This is useful if you prefer to use cash or checks.  We email (or US mail on request for $1.00 S&H) your membership card.  While striving for 10 days turnaround during the season, sometimes it is longer.   Contact us if timing is critical.  You can also send us mail at PO Box 118, Moultonborough, NH 03254 to request a membership form be sent to you, or email us at membership@moultonborosmc.org.

More Details:

Only a club membership card issued by NHSA, in either paper or electronic form, is accepted for the club discount at snowmobile registration agents.

When joining via the NHSA web site, you choose a primary club and have the option to also join other club as a secondary member.   You will pay a one-time $10 NHSA fee when you select a primary club.  That fee won’t be added to secondary clubs that you join via the NHSA web site.  The club’s web site doesn’t have an option to join as a secondary member, but you can still join that way and donate the extra $10 to the club.

Members can also join the club via the club’s web site or mail in a paper form and a check.   We will instruct the NHSA Portal to email your NHSA membership card to you or can mail you the card if you pick that option.

Some people’s email service puts the membership card  from the NHSA into their spam folder, so if you can’t find email from us, check your spam.

For those that prefer to send the club a check, please choose method 3 (scroll up).  Print out the membership application and submit it with your check to the club’s post office box.  The PO box is checked at least once a week and applications are processed as we get them.  If you don’t have a printer, contact us and we’ll mail you a paper application form.

If none of the above methods are sufficient, you can email us at info@moultonborosmc.org  or pick someone from our contact page.  We’ll figure it out.

Notes:

1. With methods 1 and 2, there is a $2 transaction fee to recover credit card fees.
2. The membership cost hasn’t gone up for years.  It is $25  (individual or family membership) plus a $10 NHSA fee.  The card is valid for a $30 discount when you register any of the sleds in your household.
3. As in previous years, $10 of your primary club membership fee goes to NHSA.  If you join another club as a secondary member, the $10 NHSA fee is waved. You only pay NHSA fees once if you join via the NHSA web site.  If you use the club’s web site to join MSC as a secondary club, our software has no way to know your membership status, so charges you the $10 NHSA fee, which is donated to the club.
4. If you donate to the MSC through the NHSA web site or club web site, 100% of your donation goes to our club.  You can also donate and order maps and decals via the club’s web site at http://moultonborosmc.org/order-form/

To save time, you are encouraged to join our club online PRIOR to visiting a registration agent.  To get the $30 club discount on your registration, print out your NHSA voucher, or use your smartphone to show a picture of the membership card to the agent.  Knowing your membership number alone is not enough.  You must show the card or electronic image.  You can join our club while at the agent by using your smartphone to enter the NHSA membership site and then show the membership card to the registration agent.  It normally only takes a few minutes and you will immediately have your membership card.

• NH Resident – Club Member $99    /  Non-Club Member $129
• Out-of-State – Club Member $119  /  Non-Club Member  $149
